Someone asked me once which would be the traits of a good business leader, and I responded three:

Firstly, a leader thrives on deciding in ambigüity. Indeed, good leaders know it is better to make a wrong decision early than a right decision too late, and that's why they take action when they have enough information to decide, not all of it.

Secondly, good leaders are consistent and will make the same decision whenever faced with the same information and diagnosis. This helps their teams move more effectively because there's no doubt about the decision made and its responsibility.

Last, good leaders enjoy working on strategy and imagining new futures. When I see business owners thinking joyfully about which clients or products are more attractive or where their industry is going, I know they will thrive.

In summary, good leaders only need enough information to decide, avoid doubts when the exact diagnosis is presented, and enjoy the whole process.
