The Decision

For business owners who’ve spent months turning an important decision over in their head and still haven’t made it.

Entering a new market. Selling or not selling. Hiring a general manager or not. Buying out a competitor. Shutting down a product line.

You've talked it through with your CFO, your accountant, your lawyer, maybe the board. Everyone gives you their opinion, but the decision is yours. You need a place to put it all on the table and decide it with someone who has no stake inside the company.

I don't bring you a report. We work together until you make it, with the reasoning clear and defensible in front of anyone who matters.

Decisions I work on

Direction

The company runs on inertia. You keep doing what you've always done, with thinner margins each year, and you know it's time to decide where the business is heading — but you don't have the time, or anyone to think it through with who doesn't have their own agenda.

I don't bring you a hundred-page strategic plan. You come out with the direction decided: where you're going, where you're not, what you stop doing.

The Team

You've grown faster than your leadership structure. Or you have a team that doesn't work as a team. Or you're missing a key role and don't know whether to hire, promote, or wait. You've been carrying it alone for too long.

I don't design an org chart for you. You come out with a clear decision map: who decides what, what stays with you, what you let go of.

Performance

Revenue is fine, but the P&L doesn't follow. Margin has been narrowing without anyone deciding it should. You suspect you're overbuilt, but you don't want to cut blind.

I don't bring you a diagnosis. You come out with the decisions made: what you stop selling, what you raise prices on, what you restructure, what you close.

Succession

You're starting to think about stepping out. Family, sale, a general manager — you don't know yet. The business is too tied to you, and that's what's holding its value back. You've talked to your financial advisor, to the family, and each one tells you something different.

I don't bring you a closed succession plan. You come out with the path decided: which scenario, on what horizon, what you let go of each semester.

Yours

Not every decision fits a label. Maybe yours is a different one: entering a new market, breaking up a partnership, making a large investment, reshaping the family business.

If you've been turning it over for months and can't close it, it's worth talking through.

How I work

Direct conversation. Unlimited access to me. Regular sessions until the decision is made and written down. No reports, no slide decks. The outcome is yours, defensible, and you can explain it in your own words to whoever needs to hear it.
