Oriol’s Proactive Business Manifesto

A proactive business is a business that grows intentionally, not reactively.

That's why it doesn't try to adapt but to create the world through rules that could be controversial, but work. Those are mine:

  1. Slow down, to speed up.
  2. Don't set SMART goals but A3 ones (Accurate, Ambitious and Alive).
  3. That the world is uncertain is the only 'normal' that exists.
  4. To be more productive, calm down.
  5. Be prudent and aggressive in innovation.
  6. Make a plan, and break it.
  7. Don't try to manage risk, but to use it as a bounce factor.
  8. Succession is not a plan but a process.
  9. Is not about retaining talent but to unleash it.
  10. Don't hire the best ones but the right.

Let me know which of these rules got your attention enough to discuss them with me, and we'll find a moment to meet.

That's the first of four manifestos that I'll share with you during the following weeks. We'll talk about leadership, marketing and finances.
