Oriol’s Proactive Business Manifesto
A proactive business is a business that grows intentionally, not reactively.
That's why it doesn't try to adapt but to create the world through rules that could be controversial, but work. Those are mine:
- Slow down, to speed up.
- Don't set SMART goals but A3 ones (Accurate, Ambitious and Alive).
- That the world is uncertain is the only 'normal' that exists.
- To be more productive, calm down.
- Be prudent and aggressive in innovation.
- Make a plan, and break it.
- Don't try to manage risk, but to use it as a bounce factor.
- Succession is not a plan but a process.
- Is not about retaining talent but to unleash it.
- Don't hire the best ones but the right.
Let me know which of these rules got your attention enough to discuss them with me, and we'll find a moment to meet.
That's the first of four manifestos that I'll share with you during the following weeks. We'll talk about leadership, marketing and finances.
