Tool/app: BlaBlaNote
4 recommendations for seeing what no one else looks at.
We're closing out August. A podcast, a book, two films and, today, a tool: BlaBlaNote.
Instead of making you take notes, you leave a voice message (from the app, over WhatsApp or by calling a number) and it transcribes, summarizes, pulls out the tasks and ties it back to the person you spoke with. It's a personal CRM built to nurture the relationships that matter: not the contacts you pile up, but the ones that count.
And the signature says a lot: behind it is Oriol Vila, co-founder and former CEO of Holaluz for ten years. Someone who has built and scaled a real company, not a growth theorist. When someone who has run a large company decides the next problem worth solving is relationships, it's worth paying attention.
Why it matters to you: because the future is more technological and, at the same time, more human. Relationships are won over the long term, and the client spends only 1% of their time thinking about buying. The rest is relationship. A tool that takes the mechanical work off your plate so you can keep what can't be automated points exactly where all this is heading: less technical friction, more real contact.
And that closes the thread. Acquired, Scale, The Big Short, Moneyball and BlaBlaNote all share one way of seeing: results don't come from doing what everyone does, but from seeing what the rest don't look at. The long story when everyone wants the summary. The hidden rule beneath growth. The player nobody wants. The relationship when everyone chases the transaction.
A whole summer to train that way of seeing. In September, we carry on.
Let me know.
